Village Missions Awana Project - Keeping Country Churches Alive. BCBC – the first half! We started our club here in Bowdoin, Maine at Bowdoin Center Baptist Church (BCBC) on Friday Oct 12. We had 28 kids come (about twice as many as we thought would come! They arrived by school bus as we are doing an after school club. Village Missions Alaska Project - Keeping Country Churches Alive. Archive for October, 2008. Tuesday, October 21st, 2008. A 15 year old boy was killed on Saturday night in a snow machine/car accident on the Parks Hwy. He is a local boy, very well known and loved. He attended our youth group. Our town is devastated and the teenagers are walking wells of tears. The funeral will be on Friday evening. The family is choosing to be alone during this time of grief. Get your copy by email:.
