Pronounced "BRO-lee-o") Home is where the heart is and my heart is always here. Friday, January 29, 2010. Spring Rolls Touch Down at Super Bowl Party. Cha goi, pronounced “chai-yawh”, is smaller, crisper, and less dough than Chinese egg rolls. Greenthusiast: Litter Patrol
http://greenthusiast.blogspot.com/2011/01/litter-patrol.html
Every day green for every day people. Saturday, January 1, 2011. A self-described neat freak, I grabbed the plastic bag stuck flapping in a bush and starting stuffing in as much litter as it would hold. I could have stayed there for hours filling several large trash bags. A young boy watched me and told his father, “I don’t understand why people still litter.” Me neither, kid. Casa Broglio: Major Flavor from Minor’s Pecan Brittle
http://casabroglio.blogspot.com/2009/12/major-flavor-from-minors-pecan-brittle.html
Pronounced "BRO-lee-o") Home is where the heart is and my heart is always here. Monday, December 21, 2009. Major Flavor from Minor’s Pecan Brittle. All other brittle I’ve encountered before feature peanuts. I like this one best because it contains another Southern flavor, pecans. Using whole pecans and butter and pushing the caramelization temperature to 310. As suggested in the nut brittle recipe found in the 1963 version of the Joy of Cooking. Do’s and Don’ts. This last one I learned the hard way.
