Blog of Green Gables. Sunday, June 3, 2012. LM Montgomery was born November 30, 1874 in a small white and green house overlooking New London Harbour on PEI. The house is very well-maintained. The interior is decorated with period Victorian furnishings. There is a small bedroom decorated as it may have been when Montgomery was born there.
