When we (Sam, Diane, and I)were in Boston at the NSBA conference we all ended up at the same class at one point. This session focused on issues among board members. Given the state of our board we all apparently felt compelled to be there. We are elected public officials shouldn't we be encouraged to share everything that we can?

This is a blog I decided to start to share my walk as a School Board Member. My hope is to be as candid as possible. Wednesday, December 5, 2012. The New Board. These aren't just my words, but the phrase I have heard many times the last few weeks. Think about this. Only three members of a 7 member board have changed. But the effect they have on the board labels the entirety of the board "new". This is something very new and refreshing. I have always liked my job, but I am about to love it.
