This is your life: August 2010

This is your life. Miscellaneous ramblings about the reality presented to me as my life. Monday, August 23, 2010. I recently launched a new retail website: 10bucksapop.com. Selling graphic design t-shirts. I hope to build this site to a full time part time job. In other words, this will hopefully make enough cash that I do not need a full time job AND that I can have enough of it automated or outsourced so that it takes up less than 10 hours of my time a week. The Economics (and Official End) of Roller Coaster Tour. July 12, 2011. If you want to know the economics behind how much something like this costs I’ve written about it on my main site:. The Economics of Epic Excursions. Thanks for following along. It sucks that it’s ending like this, but sometimes the unexpected happens. We have a choice in situations like this. Wallow or move on. I’ve wallowed long enough. Time for moving on. Or I might just let it linger into obscurity. Who knows? That’s a bumm...

In Which Tour Goes On Hiatus and I Get Another Idiotic Comment. July 2, 2011. I’m not well. I severely downplayed what happened at Six Flags Over Texas due to ego and not wanting to scare my family/friends who read this site. Rest Which is exactly what I’m doing by putting tour on hiatus. Photo: Humongous Shuttlecock at the Kansas City Art Museum. I haven’t been to the past 3 scheduled parks. I’m currently in Kansas City hanging with Jonathan. This is your life: November 2009

This is your life. Miscellaneous ramblings about the reality presented to me as my life. Wednesday, November 18, 2009. I did change the recipes to NOT use shortening since it is horrible for you and I am going to do it old school with just some plain old lard. I have tried making pie crust with "alternative shortening", butter and even coconut oil, and while they were all acceptable, I have never had one come out just right so I am going with Lard this year. 1 1/2 cups cubed whole wheat bread. Pour sausa...

This is your life. Miscellaneous ramblings about the reality presented to me as my life. Monday, August 31, 2009. Ain’t looking for nothing, but a good time…. There is a board game that I like to play called Cashflow. I like to describe it as "Monopoly for Big Boys" but it is actually quite different. It was created by the author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad as an "educational" tool that is just fun to play. In most cases, as the game is played the person with the janitor's job retires first. Taking both lesson...
