ARTFULIFE: 02/12/13

Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Art as Quilts: Mini Quilt Inspired by The art of Bryn Perrott. Have you seen the wonderful artwork of Bryn Perrott. If not you should take a look. Her work is awesome and I'm quite smitten with all of it. So it seemed only fitting that I made one of her pieces into a quilt. This is my first "art as quilts" finish for the year. I chose Russian Arms as the inspiration for this little mini quilt. My main goal with this mini was to work on my embroidery skills. Links to this post.

Thursday, December 27, 2012. These two had so much fun together. We love our little cousin! Aris stuck to the smaller kiddie rides but still had just as much fun. Zoe was so brave and rode several of the grownup roller coasters. Grandma Cindy and Zoe after a ride. Omri wasn't too sure about all the rides. He had this reaction on almost every one he went on. This was one of the only rides he really could handle, can you blame him? Who wouldn't want to ride on a big rig ;). The kids on a ride with Uncle Ben.
ARTFULIFE: Monogramed Wedding Quilt
http://artfulife.blogspot.com/2013/04/monogramed-wedding-quilt.html
Thursday, April 4, 2013. My friend Mike contacted me last year to see if I could make a custom wedding quilt that he could give to his wife as a wedding gift on their honeymoon. Seriously the sweetest most thoughtful gift ever! Of course I'd help him out! Once that part was finished sewing all the rest of the quilt together was simple. It was pretty much over sized strips sewn to make a giant log cabin like pattern. Really a box, but you get the picture. Mike also wanted a custom label for his quilt.

Monday, September 10, 2012. TO THE SICKO SEARCHING FOR DISGUSTING PICTURES STAY AWAY FROM MY BLOG! The tomatoes have taken over! We won't have to buy any the rest of the summer. They are yummy too. Some a little sweeter than others but nothing yummier than fresh tomatoes from the garden. Omri and the girls pick them a hand full at a time and munch away. It's not uncommon for them to be too full for dinner because their tummies are too full of tomatoes, lol! Our little apple tree did great this year too!

Tuesday, March 29, 2011. A Few of Our Favorite Things: Canning Jars. Not just any jars, mind you: jars with character and potential, even if their years of use are long behind them. The traditional Mason jar, the Ball and Atlas brands are filled with personality. Colored glass and creative designs, such a delicate circle, a shamrock image, even a simple star create a charming package for making dry mixes for gifts or holding novelty handsoaps for display. http://nateallieandfam.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Nate, Allie and Family. Tuesday, April 24, 2012. We celebrated Natilee's 2nd birthday. She had a great time with the presents. However when it came to Grandpa Noyce's gift she only unwrapped 2-3 layers then gave it to someone else and went on to another present. The other kids all opened that gift. Nat got some Strawberry Shortcake dolls. She has fun with them when she gets the chance to play with them since Burgandi has a way of getting Nat to let her play with them!
