I birthed them in my bed, now I have to lie in it. Monday, July 09, 2007. At Least My Mom Works! Nothing new to report outside of the summertime routine - swim lessons, baseball times two sons and hunting for paid writing gigs. And swallowing bitter pills. At night I'll escape to the cafe to "work," something a few of my friends can't believe I do. Seems they can't take me seriously as an independent contractor and mom. I have to be one or the other. Am I a less skilled worker now than before I bred?

8 Centimeters Deluded: A Birthday Party (Downsized)
http://8centimetersdeluded.blogspot.com/2007/06/birthday-party-downsized.html
I birthed them in my bed, now I have to lie in it. Saturday, June 23, 2007. A Birthday Party (Downsized). Cheeks fourth birthday party is five hours from now and the house is its usual Saturday morning disaster zone. Drops the kids off at the pool. Like the last time we broke out the inflat-a-pool for the masses. Oh, by the way, yesterday I pretended to get hurt on The Lawyer's Razor scooter and faked Amnesia. The kids totally fell for it. Am I a jerk or what? Labels: not a party pooper. Thanks for sharr...

I'm fresh off of a week in New Hampshire ALONE (without the kids and moms-sibilities) and two weeks off of blogging. A (wicked) cold turkey break from blogging, checking email and being accountable to anyone for a few nano seconds was MARVELOUS but DEPRESSING. Posted by Domestic Slackstress @ 9:45 PM. Links to this post. Thursday, May 17, 2007. Staying the Antibiotic Course. Think positive (whatever that is), ...

Me and my Baby. Childbirth is a beautiful thing. It's not to be feared or dreaded. It should be cherished. I feel the best way to give birth is naturally. This is YOUR NATURAL BIRTH. Let me help you make it safe, beautiful, and something to cherish. Also, when you are lying on your back while pushing, you are working against gravity.) Our daughter was born. She was very purple as her cord was wrapped around her neck (which is very common and not usually a cause for alarm) but we placed her skin-t...

Sunday, August 30, 2009. Abigail just completed her two week Daddy-and-me swim lessons! By the end, there were no more tears.just smiles and clapping for her classmates. Here are some photos from the last day (which included a diving board! Class always started out with the kids choosing a dive ring to hang onto and do different activities with. These were their "ring fish". The ring fish is on my head! I'm learning with my instructor, Mr. Johnny. Practicing my "big kicks" with Daddy. Look at that form!
