Actionscript 3, Flex 2, Games Development Blog. Tuesday, August 22, 2006. Neato, can't wait to play with this. It runs smoothly on my AMD Sempron 3000, firefox 1.5, taking approx 30% CPU. Nice work, runs smoothly on a MacBook Pro - Mac Os X :D. Can I get an FPS counter :p. Must play with this soon. Nice Very smooth, even though I have to use Firefox via WINE on the SuSE linux box untill Adobe get a new player for linux out. Its really smooth. Very impressive. Thanks for the good site. Here’s a new little testdemo. I wanted to test some different things for a possible game idea using Papervision3D. Including:. Basic collision between objects. Basic bullet-shooting with collision. The keys for the demo are:. Arrowkeys (or wasd) – to control the mech. Space – Shoot. Enter – Switch camera. After those fixes and some cleanup, ran the smoke test again – The board powered up without smoke! A first small victory down this path – But many more things remained.
