http://christineslaces.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Freitag, 14. März 2008. Muster: VERENA Sommer 2006. Pure Cotton Aran, Colour 16. 50 g /= 68m. Sonntag, 9. März 2008. Kauni Effektgarn 8/2 (100% Schafswolle). Modell "Hervor" mit Flechtgitter.

The Art of Teabag Staining (and other stories): Getting Through
http://cloclo1.blogspot.com/2015/01/getting-through.html
Sunday, 25 January 2015. Despite my promises to blog more often, I have allowed a week to pass without a post. Sometimes life gets in the way, but I am going to make the effort to post today to catch up with what we have been up to. The last few days have involved the following. I currently have a chilli con carne cooking in there - let's hope this one turns out well. J and I have had tea parties in the lounge. Frozen strawberries and blueberries, plum, pear and grapes. I have also been to my friend's su...

The Art of Teabag Staining (and other stories): Progress
http://cloclo1.blogspot.com/2015/02/progress.html
Wednesday, 25 February 2015. It's been an extremely busy few weeks chez Watson. Going back to work after the half term holiday has been a bit hectic and very exhausting as I struggle increasingly with my hips and back while I waddle around school, but I only have five more weeks to go now until mat leave and I'm definitely counting down! Thirty weeks now, I don't know where the time has gone. I decided to knit the sleeves onto the jumper rather than setting in (as I. I have also had a go at some more flo...

The Art of Teabag Staining (and other stories): Smoothie Experiments
http://cloclo1.blogspot.com/2015/01/smoothie-experiments.html
Thursday, 15 January 2015. My quest to get my five a day in smoothie form continues, and I have to say I do feel the benefit of them, at least my stomach does! One of the latest attempts has been this:. Frozen Black Forest Mix, a pear, grapes and some blueberries, topped up with some water. It produced this:. Quite runny without a banana to thicken it but I actually appreciate that thinner consistency sometimes, and very refreshing with the pear and grapes. Another attempt was this:. I live with my husba...

Six Skeins Under: Banana yarn
http://sixskeinsunder.blogspot.com/2014/03/banana-yarn.html
Wednesday, 19 March 2014. I've discovered banana yarn. and I like it! Also known as vegan silk, this is made (obviously) from the banana plant. As it's a plant rather than animal fibre it requires cold-dyeing - something new to me. I finally tried it and found it sooo easy! It fits in rather well with my busy schedule too as I can set it up, put the lid on and leave it unattended until I get around to it again. Perfect. The next stage is to fire up my Knitware.
