Anvil’s drinks list 6. A bar in Houston, Texas that prides itself on its well made cocktails, has compiled a list of 100 cocktails that they believe everyone should try at least once. Paper copies are available in the bar, as are stamp cards so patrons can keep track of their progress. Fun idea, and I’m sure it’s great for business. Then follows the list. Canadian Club Classic Whisky 2. I recently received a sample bottle of Canadian Club Classic, a blend of 12 year old whiskies by perhaps the best known distiller of Canadian whisky. I’m normally not a big drinker of Canadian whiskies but I’m also willing to try just about anything. So while it’s good on the rocks, I found it best in an Old Fashioned (big surprise for me, I know). It also mixes well, particularly with lemon, so it’s a good choice for whiskey sours. 1 I even tasted that bacon-flavored vodka.

Het verband tussen beide ken ik niet en zie ik ook niet, maar ja. Rum (bruin) (2 cl) (Havana Club Añejo Reserva). Vodka (zwarte bes) (4 cl) (Abolut Kurant). Doe alles behalve de cola in een mengglas, even oproeren en strainen over ijsblokjes in een longdrinkglas. Voeg tenslotte de cola toe en garneer met een schijfje perzik en ananas.
