The little figures in the above photo are a gift from my sister that she purchased in New Mexico for me. I think it's a pretty and thoughtful way for us to remember our beloved friends and family that have died. I quickly answered yes. My girls were thrilled to get to have make up and photographs done for them too. At first they don't look nearly as pretty as the final product.

Wednesday, April 14, 2010. A TOUCH OF ROMANCE TABLESCAPE. I found these dishes on EBay awhile ago and feel in love with them the minute I first saw them. The lovely shade of a light aqua blue rim and the beautiful flowers are a perfect match for me. They are from the 1940's. Sunday, December 26, 2010. Since we had brunch for Christmas this year and not dinner, I wanted to keep the tablescape very simple. I went with white with touches of greens and a hint of gold. The white plates I found this year at Dollar Tree. I love them and they will be used often. The smaller Santa plate I purchased years ago when my sister lived in Colorado and I went to visit her. Now I had the color theme. I think the little animals are so cute. So, I had no idea what to use for the centerpiece.
