SPOTTED.CARS IN MOSCOW. Saturday, August 1, 2015. So I went today to this Food Truck Fest here in Moscow, had lunch and saw some food trucks. Except I am too lazy to properly research their makes and catalog them so I'll just name the marque and lump them all together as "food trucks undefined", see my List of Spots at bottom of this blog's right-hand panel. Number one is an MB van-based food truck serving chef's burgers (designer burgers). Here is Pizza Love. which in Russian sounds like Пицце лов.

August 8, 2015 was the date of the All-Russia presentation of the 2015 Ford Fiesta Sedan and the new 2015 Ford Focus in the sedan and hatchback versions, and I went to the nearest Ford dealer to attend said presentation. The Ford Fiesta Sedan, the Ford Focus sedan and hatchback (and the Mondeo sedan) are made locally in Russia at two venues, I think, and are very popular. And now a gray sedan.

SPOTTED.CARS IN MOSCOW. Thursday, August 6, 2015. Lada 111 in Traffic x 2. Last year I spotted in traffic this Lada 111, aka Lada 2111, aka VAZ-2111. Not a frequent site in Moscow anymore. The hindquarters of a Lada 111. S front wheel drive car with a station wagon. Bodystyle (modification of Lada 110. It was manufactured from 1998 to 2009. The vehicle is still manufactured in the Ukraine by Bogdan. Marketed as the "Bogdan 2111", with only minor alterations. And here's another one spotted this year.

SPOTTED.CARS IN MOSCOW. Saturday, August 8, 2015. A nice catch, i.e. spot, today - a Volga GAZ-21. Third Series parked on a street. and drove off soon after I photographed it. The GAZ deer emblem. There it is. parked very expertly right in the shadow of a tree and pretty close to the curb too. Parking in the shadow is a must on a hot day like today was - something about 30C - especially in the case of a classic car (no air conditioner). And the yellow sticker in the window says the owner is selling it.

Two tone - orange body, black roof, not sure if original scheme, Type 14, if I am not mistaken. Orange looks good on a snow-less grayish winter day. Bonus what appears to be a Mercedes-Benz W111.
