Reporters are invited to the graduation of the Prison Pals N Pups program at Tomoka Correctional Institution Work Camp, 3950 Tiger Bay Road, Daytona Beach, Florida, 32124-1098.11/27/2012: Baker Correctional Institution - New Visiting Policy. Due to the high number of visitors at Baker Correctional Institution, a new visiting policy will be put into place effective December 15, 2012. Inmates whose DC number ends with a 0-4 will visit on Saturdays. Inmates whose DC number ends with 5-9 will visit on Sundays. Holidays will be excluded and will be done as first come, first serve basis. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. We understand the value of inmates receiving visits from loved ones so we want to be able to accommodate all visitors. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact the institution. 11/21/2012: Lowell Correctional Institution Hosts Community Connections Event and Graduation. Lowell Correctional Basic Training Program would like to invite the media to attend the Basic Training Graduation at Lowell Correctional Institution. The Basic Training Program provides youthful offenders with physical training, military drill and ceremony, academic and vocational programming, work assignments, and self betterment programming. 11/16/2012: Rapid Response Team Training Involves 252 Officers and 18 Northwest Florida Prisons. Today the Florida Department of Corrections Rapid Response Team (RRT) held their annual training exercise at the Holmes County Fairgrounds in Bonifay.
