Great things grow in small spaces. Wednesday, March 30, 2011. I have followed the garden adventures of the Dervaes family. For over a year now. They are an amazing inspiration when it comes to Urban Homesteading. One of their most fascinating plants is the Tromboncino Squash (Cucurbita moschata). They grow them on a pegola and they hang like swan necked bells. After happily finding the seeds at Diggers. I set to work growing my own. I watched with anticipation as the first flowers. Procrasturbation: To waste time pleasuring oneself. Scary Scary RL blog – flee while you still can. Homemade mantou and pork hamburger bento. August 11, 2014. So after all the gardening I thought I’d experiment with making steamed buns (mantou) which are apparently really easy. Of course due to to just winging it mine were interesting, but still good. Sit for an hr till doubled in size and poke holes don’t collapse. Knead the heck out of it. Steam for 15 mins roughly. In any case;. Enter your comment here.

WHERE THE BLOGS HAVE NO NAME. General thoughts about Gardening, Food, Wine, Art, Music, and many other things that come to mind when I'm sitting at my keyboard. For thoughts on theology and literature see my other two blogs. Tuesday, October 30, 2012. Would a Vegan Diet End Animal Suffering? I’ve just seen a comment on the letters page of the Daily Telegraph that suggested animal suffering will be alleviated with the adoption of a vegan diet. I think the comment displays a noble but very naive desire.

Thursday, 29 December 2011. The tomato plants are flourishing. I was so excited that I forgot to post about the first few grape tomatoes I harvested the other day. There are more on the way! The sticks mark a few rainbow silverbeet seeds that I have just planted. I received them in my welcome pack from the Diggers Club. And today I ...
