Sure, it has it’s place in. But it has been abused by so many people, it is just annoying. There isn’t really any specific. For this blog, it’s more of a general overview of the excessively annoying habbit that many authors have. Why is it Bad? It’s bad because it attempts to force the user to open a new window. About this site — Mercury 3 on Spacelog

If you have found this site useful, whether it’s given you platform numbers before they appear on the displays at the station, told you the nearest station when you’re lost in the middle of nowhere, shown you a live map of the London Underground, or just provided you with minimalist timetabled and live train information over the past 14 years, please consider donating to Railway Children. A charity which helps vulnerable children who have run away or are forced to leave their homes.

Vaguely live map of trains in the United Kingdom
http://m.traintimes.org.uk/map
Live train map for. Move trains at 10x normal speed. Data collected: No data yet. This map shows all trains currently on approach to a particular station. The yellow dots are stations, the red dots trains. The trains move in approximately real time, or rather quicker if you check the speed-up box. How does it work? Live departure data is fetched from the National Rail website, much like my timetable site. And then it does a bit of maths and magic. Donate.
