Pong for Microsoft Excel 97. This is a VBA module that can be dropped into any Excel97 spreadsheet to give it single-player Pong-playing capability. This was done just because it can. Be done. POP3 Internet Mail Retriever. I needed to automate the download of certain files by email. Lucky for me, the Exchange server I needed to hit supported the POP3 mail protocol that almost everybody uses. So I was able to write a very generic tool. You can run it standalone (see the picture below), or you can automate it via Windows Scripting, DOS batch files, or any VBA client! Here's the story: FFIND was written to solve a single problem. I couldn't find an elegant way to search one of those multi-line description BBS file lists for files that interested me. Sure, most of them are broken up into different "areas" or "directories", but even one area can get pretty big! If you try searching them with the MSDOS "FIND" command, you snag all the lines which contain the item you're interested in, BUT YOU MISS ALL THE FILE NAMES AND THE ASSOCIATED DESCRIPTIONS! DOS, Unix, and Macintosh Text Conversion. DOS, Unix, and Macintosh all define the end-of-line for plain text differently. I found myself getting and sending text to and from too many kinds of computers. So I wrote three programs to allow me to convert anything to anything. You can use them from the DOS command line, or you can just drag files on them (or shortcuts to them) for conversion. Sorry, source code isn't available on these. Converts anything (Unix or Apple) to the DOS standard CRLF.
