Sunday, 23 November 2014. Honestly, I never even considered trying to tackle such a dish as Pad Thai before reading about it in Matthew Amster-Burton's Hungry Monkey. But now it's become something that I find relatively easy and enjoy doing. 200 g (6-7 oz) rice noodles. 30 g (1 oz) tamarind paste. 10 g (0.4 oz) palm sugar. 1 dL (0.4 cup) boiling water. 30 mL (1 oz) peanut oil. 15 tbsp fish sauce. 2 tsp rice vinegar. Fresh coriander leaves, chopped. Fresh green chillies, chopped. Tofu, sliced and fried.

Sunday, 27 September 2009. Europe Trip - 1st day. This is the first time i'm taking Air Asia X to London. The flight journey took around 14 hours. Overall, the seat is comfortable, the food is better than Etihad and for entertainment, we just need to pay extra RM30. It is better than what i expected. At night, i follow kuang yaw and his parents to China Town in London dinner. I get to eat 三烧饭 which i miss the most in London. It's absolutely, fabulously delicious. I always double the recipe and it makes a large loaf. Adapted from Jim Lahey, Sullivan Street Bakery author of My Bread. Time: About 1½ hours plus 14 to 20 hours’ rising. 3 cups all-purpose or bread flour, more for dusting or 400 grams. 188; teaspoon instant yeast or 1 gram.

Marnae's Favorite Food Recipes. Sunday, January 23, 2011. Tres Leches (Jana Fowers) 350° 30-35min. 1 c sugar (separated 3/4 and 1/4). 2 t baking powder. Beat egg yolks in medium size bowl with 3/4 c. of the sugar until the mixture is light in color. (about 3-5 minutes). Carefully stir in milk, vanilla, flour, and baking powder, and set aside. 1 c heavy whipping cream (8 oz, half pint). 1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk. 1 can 12 oz evaporated milk. Garnish with fruit and whipped cream.
