Grannie Annie
http://grannieanniedesigns.com/table-runners
Autumn Leaves was made as a gift for an extended family Thanksgiving dinner. I like the border fabric so much I consider it one of my all time best finds. The same year I made Cardinals for Christmas because the autumn leaves were so well received. Both can be used for a season rather than a day which makes them even more useful. Golden Stars in a Winter Sky. Golden Stars in a Winter Sky detail. Lincoln Log Cabin detail.
Jackets for the Far East
http://grannieanniedesigns.com/jackets
Jackets for the Far East. This jacket was made for a trip to China. I chose the fabric based on the movie, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. I put the crouching tiger on the front where it is easily seen, though there are others, and the hidden dragon prominently centered on the back where the wearer could not see it. Friendship stars are used at junctions and the buttons are in the style of Chinese coins. Dragon on the left. One sleeve also has the dragon . Tiger on the right. And one the tiger. They all ...
Doggy Projects
http://grannieanniedesigns.com/doggy-projects
Some of the dogs are realistic and some are fun like surfer dog and space dog. The yellow sashing has all kinds of dog talk like fetch and woof and bow wow. Huxley and Friends detail. Huxley admires his table runner. Publication rights may be requested by contacting me at "anne at grannieanniedesigns dot com".
Bed Quilts
http://grannieanniedesigns.com/bed-quilts
This purple quilt is a very early experiment and learning project with rotary cutting before it became common. With help from Grampy Ray, I made Amelia a new quilt for Christmas. It is called Starring Amelia and is made of star motif fabrics. Many family members' pictures and Amelia's birth information are underneath four pointed squares. She can open the squares to see the pictures and play peek-a-boo! Some of them are pinned open for you to see inside.

The Domestic Scientist: Sewing and Culinary Adventures With HuxleyWuxley. grannie - Det handlar om mig och min värld......
Det handlar om mig och min värld. Det handlar om mig och min värld. Säterhill och lite vad som händer där. Å nu kommer regnet. Nu så är det vinter igen. Jessicas / Alexandras blogg.

Grannie's Take on Things!!
Grannie's Take on Things! Monday, October 16, 2006. THINKING OF YOU ALAINA! When Jesus Calls Your Name. When you come to know the Father. And He takes your trembling hand. He will lead you on a journey. To a far off distant land. When He quietly comes to greet you. In the early morning hue. You will find a world of wonder. As you waltz upon the dew. When He whispers ever gently. In the noontide of the day. When you feel His blessed presence. It will take your breath away. When you find a night of darkness.

The inspiration for this site was the impending arrival of a grandaughter who is now here. Meet Amelia Violet Johnson, who was born on October 6, 2004. Amelia is now big sister to Daphne Piper Johnson who was born in the Chinese Year of the Dog and has inspired new projects which can be seen on the "Doggy Projects" page. This quilt, Hearts Full Of Love, was made to welcome Amelia. Here are more of my quilts:. Jackets for the Far East.
