Thursday, November 29, 2012. A couple weeks ago I posted about Orcas in Crisis. In Blackney Pass due to an application submitted to install monitoring equipment in this delicate area off Johnstone Strait. The turbines that were in question would have caused unknown noise to the area of orca whalehabitat, disturbing them and their food source. The Northern Resident whales in this area are already deemed to be a threatened species under Canada's Species At Risk Act (SARA). Wednesday, November 28, 2012.

In 2008 Dan secured a scholarship driving for rallyshcool.co.uk in the Formula 1000 Forestry Rally Championship competing in a Nissan Micra rally car with co-driver William Rogers. Dan came 3rd in the Championship and ever since then he’s had the ‘rally bug’. Since 2009, Dan has built and developed his own Peugeot 106 1400 rally car, competing in BTRDA rounds of the Forestry Championship. 2015 will see Dan and Matt competing for the championship in Dan’s Peugeot 106.
