What a horrible week I had, my grandmother passed away, my daughter was sick, and my car broke down. And on top of everything, the general atmosphere is upsetting due to PM Sharon situation. On Wednesday night PM Sharon had massive stroke and he was hospitalized. I didn’t agree with his political way but it was shocking news for all of us.

Since it is very hot in Israel, the only place we can camp during the summer is the Kinnereth, (The sea of Galil). The kinnereth is our only sweet water lake so everybody goes camping there. Tuesday, May 30, 2006. This weekend we will be celebrating Shavuot, which according to Jewish tradition, the Ten Commandments were given to Moses on Mount Sinai on Shavout. That is why this holiday is called "Zman Matan Toratenu" - the Time of the giving of our law thus it has become the tradition that on Shavout we eat only dairy products. Our winter is not like any winter in the world. Europe is snowy and freezing. And we are seating in the sun like cats looking to get warm. One day of rain this is what we get once a week. Only one day, but he makes a lot of mess, floods, car accidents, people are evacuated from their homes due to floods.
