After approx 4.5 miles turn right by the Tal-y-Cafn pub onto the B5279 towards Trefriw. After 1 mile turn left onto the B5106 towards Trefriw. After approx 5.5 miles enter the village of Trefriw. Continue through the village, over the bridge and Yr Hafod is approx another 200m on the left. Caution - the entrance is a sharp left turn.

Trefriw is a small village on the West side of the Conwy Valley (Dyffryn Conwy). It is located to the South of the valley between Llandudno and Betws-y-Coed, and just across the valley from the larger Llanrwst. By train get off at Llandudno Junction or Conwy (often a request stop) and get the 19 and X19. Bus Alternatively the infrequent Conwy Valley Line train runs from the junction (when the tracks haven’t been washed away by flooding) but this will only take you as far as Llanrwst.
