Henry Omana, still in the hunt. The Victo...

Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Phillies Person of the Year 2014. Jimmy Rollins is the Phillies 2014 Person of the Year. If anyone would feel that there is any amount of nostalgia in making this pick, you would be absolutely correct. Jimmy Rollins ...

Saturday, January 31, 2015. Phillies As MLB's All-Time Losers. From 1883 through 2014, the Philadelphia Phillies have a combined all-time win-loss record of. The team is 1,087 games below the .500 mark. It would thus take the franchise approximately 60 consecutive 90-win seasons to get back to that all-time break even mark. Those 10,551 losses are more than any club in MLB history. Only the Braves franchise with 10,303 are even remotely close. The Phillies became consistent winners. From 1885 through...

Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Phillies: Cole Hamels Trade Possibilities. Cole Hamels would yield biggest return in trade. With the July 31st non-waiver trade deadline looming in Major League Baseball, and the Phillies apparently unable to pawn off any of their over-priced, over-aged, or injury-plagued players to contending teams, the possibility that GM Ruben Amaro Jr will try to cash in his biggest chip for premium prospect talent with which to rebuild is growing by the hour. The Yankees do not have the quali...
