Analysis of samples from 11 species of sharks found in Belize revealed high levels of methyl mercury, a potent neurotoxin. In March 2013, the Convention on the International Trade in Threated Species of Fauna and Flora (CITES).

Lindy’s Banana Bread. 1 1/4 cup sugar. 1/2 cup butter or margarine softened. 1 1/2 cup very ripe banana ( 3 to 4 medium-sized ). 2 1/2 cup flour. 1 cup nuts (optional). 1 tsp baking soda.
