On December 16, 2010. On August 10, 2010, the Greenhouse Group started to see signs of a disease problem in the greenhouse. By September almost the entire crop was dead. The curling of the leaves is a clear sign of a pest problem or nutrient deficiency. These two tomatoes are showing signs of blossom end rot, a fungal disease caused by calcium deficiency. Unfortunately on January 12, 2010 this wind severely damaged the greenhouse and caused a major set back on construction. Construction of the Greenhouse. On November 24, 2010. Starting in the Spring of 2009 the Woodford Greenhouse Association started construction. On December 12, 2009 Mr. Percy McLarty from Cascade helped the group put the plastic on the roof.

The WGA was started via a climate change adaptation grant from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). On December 7, 2010. After repairing the greenhouse, the group started to construct a storehouse for all the equipment and supplies needed for the greenhouse. In April, the group started digging the level for the foundation of the storehouse. Mr Wade is casting part of the foundation. Mr Jones is mixing the cement while Ms. Brown carries it over to Mr. Wade. Mr Nicholson is laying out the bricks and making sure that they are level.
