Natural history and evolution of a species complex. About Dr. Jolles. I joined the Introductory Biology team at the Keck Science Department. In Claremont for the spring semester, 2014, after which I supervised the summer research of Pitzer student and Keck Science Fellow, Julian Roberts. Currently I am teaching California Plants, a lab and lecture course, for the Environmental Studies Department. At University of Redlands. Every other week we are on a field trip for this class– this is wonderful.

On this page I will post some tutorials and examples of analyses that may be useful. Phylogenetic trees in R. I wrote this little tutorial as an introductory chapter for the NESCent Academy on Macroevolution. Back in July 2014. It? Ll be teaching a module on comparative methods in our? Structure, function, performance. WM Keck Science Department. 925 N Mills Ave. Claremont, CA 91711. I currently teach three different courses at the Colleges and also contribute to our research methods course. I am planning on introducing a course on computational methods in evolutionary biology at some point (hopefully soon) - until then, we'll cover the material in lab meetings. Ie the phylogenetic perspective on biology. Tree thinking is a very challenging concept , and hence it (re)appears in man...

Structure, function, performance. WM Keck Science Department. 925 N Mills Ave. Claremont, CA 91711. The foremost goal of the research in the Schmitz lab is to achieve a better understanding of the origins of diversity by focusing on how the environment influences evolution. Data collection and analysis is guided by predictions from functional morphology. But other functional systems are considered, too. New paper in Journal of Vision (08/15). Retinal topography maps are a widely used tool in visual ecolo...
