Favourite poem of the week. Links to my poems online. Reviews of The Sun Bathers. June 25, 2015. Why I write, part one. My exercise book comes back with ‘see me’ written in it. But it’s ok. This time there are lots of ticks in red pen and an ‘excellent’ at the end. Why I write, part two. But my point is this. Favourite poem of the week. Links to my poems online. Reviews of The Sun Bathers. I once waited nine months for a scrappy coffee stained printed rejection slip to come back from a poetry magazine. Needless to say I won’t be submitting to that particular publication again. I have also heard of people not receiving any response at all, although I am fortunate in that this has never happened to me.( NB- I wrote this in 2012 and in 2014 this is no longer the case! On other occasions you will receive a polite...

Favourite poem of the week. Links to my poems online. Reviews of The Sun Bathers. More thoughts on drafting poems. August 31, 2016.
