February 21, 2011. 8212; abramscm @ 7:06 pm. Writing Informational Poetry as a response to reading and researching across the curriculum provides a creative format for students to transform the knowledge they have learned. Honestly, I was not very excited at first about I poetry–mostly because I had no idea what it was. I have to say, though, I really enjoyed creating my own I Poetry! After reviewing all the sources on Dr. Frye’s blog, I am so excited to be able to use I poetry in my classroom! I donR...

Just another WordPress.com site. I am Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard. I wonder how black my beard really is. I hear the sea roaring a lion’s mouth. I see the grenades raining from the sky. I want to be the most vicious captain there is. I am Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard. I pretend there is a treasure out there. I feel that I can be too scary sometimes. I touch fin wood on deck of the QAR. I worry about the QAR during the winterly storms. I am Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard.

On: January 26, 2011. Poetry is a style of writing that I have trouble connecting with. It is difficult for me to read poems and enjoy reflecting on there true meaning. Although I do not find much pleasure in reading poetry, I adored Love That Dog by Sharon Creech! On: January 24, 2011. Those people in my life have no need to worry, I worry enough for everyone! Just another WordPress.com weblog. April 8, 2009. I think my students would really love completing a multigenre project, and I plan on having my students to complete one next year. I think this would be a great strategy for the reluctant writer. By having the students to complete a multigenre project, it will allow them to see how writing can come in different forms and they will be appreciative of the various writing genres. 8220;Multigenre Projects”. Hello from Ms. Pekarne! Posted by Sarah Pekarne. I am rash and terrifying. I wonder who I will attack next. I hear the panic. I see the apprehension. I want the precious treasure. I am rash and terrifying. I pretend to be sober. I feel Poseidon’s guidance. I touch the ocean’s air. I worry there’s a squall brewing. I cry at the thought of fialure. I am rash and terrifying. I understand the art of battle. I say it is time to attack. I dream about the prize. I try to raid the ship. I am rash and terrifying.

So Much Depends Upon. White and shining like the snow. I cannot leave without them pushed through my ears. They have become so much a part of me. I feel so lost without them. Observing the eloquently painted sky. I wish I could reach and touch the wisps of cotton balls. The clouds pass through the sky with ease. Slowly floating away on the winter breeze. Golden leaves FALL down. FLOATING, FLUTTERING, FLAWLESS. Stacking on the ground. I AM POEM (Blackbeard). I am a terrifying, despicable monster. You are ...
