Poetry in Public Project. Thoughts on poetry and life. Final Thoughts of a Dying Poet. April 23, 2013. In grade school I wrote poetry all the time. I was really legitimately into it, and I thought I was really good! I tried writing deep stuff, religious stuff (all praise to a Catholic middle school), funny stuff, and everything in between.
