The Running Turtle: November 2012
http://therunningturtle.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 25, 2012. I am often asked how about the naming of my blog, I guess they don't know me that well. Let me share how this blog came about in the early days. I had just won the lottery (26.2 miles) for my very first ever marathon! I wanted to share my marathon journey with EVERYONE! What better way to do it than share it in a blog format, so anyone that wanted to read along could, although I didn't advertise the blog name or URL, I guess that is why I have 5 followers! I am a SLOW runner!

The Running Turtle: Women's Half Marathon-Scottsdale
http://therunningturtle.blogspot.com/2013/11/womens-half-marathon-scottsdale.html
Saturday, November 9, 2013. This is always a fun race to do, with the exception of the course itself! Hahaha. the last three years I have run the Half Marathon, and this year I didn't sign up. coming off of the Nike Women's and all, I kind of forgot to sign up for it. so at the last minute, I signed up. but for the 5K instead of the Half! Mind you, I hadn't run a mile since that AWESOME day in San Francisco. so a 5K was a great way to shake it out and get going again. The siren sounded and we were off.

The Running Turtle: January 2014
http://therunningturtle.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 20, 2014. This race came upon me pretty quickly! I remember signing up for it, and thinking I should really "train' for a Half marathon and see how I do! Keep in mind, I don't actually "train" for the distance, I just go out and run, which leaves me pretty empty and sore after the Half! So this one I thought I would at least train and see how well I could actually do! The good thing about this race is that they added a "Mini- Marathon" being short of 6 miles to run…. The Mini course was p...
