SCULPTURES OF THE CULTURAL QUARTER. The Central Technical School. We begin with the Central Technical School and museum extension at Byrom Street. The style is Edwardian Baroque. The allegorical sculptural decorations are Mannerist with echoes of Michelangelo and they tell of the benefits of education for commerce, trade and the city.
