The Humphrey family, brothers Owen, Samuel and John, who lived at Llwyndu, became faithful members. It is probable that George Fox visited Llwyndu on his second visit in 1667. Quakers from this part of Wales emigrated because of severe persecution in this country; these three brothers and their father were imprisoned for their faith. Back to main menu.
