Mandag den 11. april 2011. But would you drink this? Wine production is responsible for about 50% of the pesticides used in France. Wine represents about 3% of the cultivated area. But never mind. Pesticides don't make it into wine, do they? Found in the 34 bottles. All bottles contained at least one pesticide, on average the bottles contained more than four pesticides, the bottle that contained the most had residues from 10 different pesticides. Does't thou actually want to know? Well I thought not.

Torsdag den 3. februar 2011. Neuf Côtes de boeuf. Indkaldt til Concours de Côte-de-boeuf i Loire. Ni stks Côte de Boeuf fra hele Frankrig af forskellige kvægtyper, terroirs og slagtere. Ja, egentlig var der på forhånd tilmeldt ti og faktisk ankom vist nok kun otte, men overskriften - såvel som selve konkurrencen - får ligesom lidt mere. Sted: St-Lambert-de-Lattay, Anjou, Loire, Frankrig. Deltagere: Ca. ni côte de boeuf. Dommerpanel: 18 stks blandet landhandel med tilknytning til vin. Og starten er gået.
