Matthew's favourite toy in the caravan was the guard in front of the gas fire. This levered forwards in a most pleasing fashion, creating satisfying noises. Fortunately, we spent little time inside the caravan as the weather was so great - warmer than 2000 when the cold drove us inside for evening meals, and cooler than 1999 when it was often too hot for an al fresco lunch.
