American Chili Con Carne with a Twist. 1 pound of ground beef. 1 large onion, chopped. 2 cloves of garlic, minced. 1 TBS chili powder. Salt pepper to taste. 1 tsp dried oregano leaves. Would you believe that just recently I have learned how to make a pecan pie? 1 cup of light corn syrup. 1 cup of sugar. 2 TBS butter, melted. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1 1 2 cups pecans. 1 unbaked 9 inch deep dish pie crust.
