A photo a day for 2011. Tuesday, May 3, 2011. Cohutta 100 race report. Here is my seat in the "new" position. Normally it is level or a little bit down in the front! From that point in the race there was a good climb that started at mile 28 and pretty much lasted until mile 58! Volunteer help at Aid 2. It was at about mile 60 that the descent began and lasted for about 10 miles! I crossed the line at 10 hours 3 minutes. Inspecting the damage JT sustained on course. BT crossing the line.

Despite wind and cold, the first race of the Western Campus Cross went off successfully this past Saturday with over 20 racers toeing the line with a combination of cross bikes, mountain bikes, and single speeds of various shapes and sizes. Brae Patten (WSC Cycling) shows pro form. Next week, we'll be having a prize for the best dressed.

We weren't hunting chukar today, but figuratively they were calling us down the coulee, lap after lap of light dust powder on facet crunch. And we had to hike all the way back out.
