Crabtree Falls Bridge (Matted). This is a scenic foot bridge over the Tye River, near the base of Crabtree Falls. It was put in place in 1978, shortly after the residents of Nelson County encouraged the land to be purchased for future generations to enjoy. On one of my visits to the Falls, I lost sight of the group I was with. I looked around and found this beautiful bridge instead! 8x10 Print with Smooth White Matte. Amazing Daze in DC. A daily (or almost daily) account of our amazing trip to the DC area! Saturday, June 11, 2011. Tuesday, June 7. From Antietam to Clara Barton. What a ride that was! We laughed about the eighteen wheelers passing us, and hoped there was not going to be an occasion where bicyclers might be able to go around us! Randi with her hoodie on! Needless to say...
