Dr Alistair McIlhagger, a senior lecturer, has specific interests in cure monitoring and control during the curing processes for composites, particularly liquid moulding processes using parallel plate dielectrics. More recently he has been concerned with the comparison of the performance of 3D woven with angle interlocked woven and unbalanced reinforcements for composite structures.
