David's Outlaw Audio 950 - Analog Listening. I joined the Outlaw Audio. 950 Preamp/Processor waiting list on July 8th, 2002. At that time, Outlaw Audio was working through some production and performance problems with this model, mostly having to do with a few cases of "excessive" noise in the analog outputs. My two channel system consists of:. L A T International. SS-1000D and IC-200 MkII. Chang Lightspeed ISO 6400. Legacy Audio MiST's (three). L A T International IN-WALL, DI-20 MkII, and IC-100 MkII.

October 19, 2015. CEDIA 2015: Focused on Core Custom Install Audience. This years CEDIA has come and gone, and unless the journalists in attendance badly missed something, I didnt see many announcements with broad applicability outside the core custom install base. Push the pedal down · watch the world around fly by us'. We visited our local IMAX. Theater this past weekend with Eric, Janell and Todd to check out the U2 concert which was exhibited in 3D. Though I'm sure it's never as good as actually being there (in South America with around 150k strong), it was still a pretty cool experience to say the least. Gotta admit, you think you're pretty snazzy in those big goofy 3D glasses, yes? Seems to be stirring up the pot again. Better Late Than Never. I know, I know&...

Push the pedal down · watch the world around fly by us'. It's Been a While. We've really neglected our blog recently, either from being too busy or just plain lazy. So, here's just a quick recap on some of the highlights for the past 3 months or so. We took some time off and headed out to Oak Island, NC. For some R&R at the beach with Phil and Kelli. Fun. We also finally broke down and bought ourselves mountain bikes so we could go riding with our friends. So we took a trip. But you've been warned. When ...

Personal tech consulting and support for everyone. May 26, 2009. A Modest Proposal: Eliminate The Retailer. Most electronics manufacturers, particularly the biggest ones, have a love-hate relationship with the retailers that sell their products; a classic case of can’t live with ‘em, can’t live without ‘em. It’s time for some brave and smart manufacturer to try a little distancing, for the good of the relationship. Dont worry, you can always return it. When there are salespeople at all end up pushing pro...
