Family Fun Day August 30th - MONDAY. It's all systems go here for John - he has put out the banners, and is tidying up the yard, so that we will be ready for the Open Day which is only 5 days away. As usual there seems load to do to get ready for this big day, which is free of charge to get into, and many of the activities are free on the day. NEWS OF "HEAVENLY" PIGGIES SOLD. We have sold nearly all our piggies, and its great news that 2 boars and 2 gilts have been registered from the "Heavenly" herd here at Park Hill. We have only got 5 boars left - they have grown really well, and will provide hours of happiness for their new owners.

It feels like summer is slipping away, so lets stroll through the most glorious of countrysides, up hill and down dale, before it gets too cold to go for a long walk. With hilly conditions, a couple of places will be suitable for collecting those of you who pull up lame, so bring your mobile phones.

Date 9th August 2012 – Thursday. Time 11 am -12.30 pm. Event - Mini Beast Hunt and Pollinator Survey. Entry Charge - £2.50 including barbecue. 5 – 12 years old. BOOKING DETAILS – Booking is ESSENTIAL and parents MUST STAY with children. Clothing Wellies or outdoor shoes and sun hat are essential. A great family day out for all to enjoy. Bug hunting in a specially selected area of the farm’s long grasses, and taking part in a farm survey to see what bugs are pollinating our flowers. All items are supplied.
