LA 차이나타운에 위치한 필립 더 오리지널(Philippe the Original)은 1908년에 개업하여 무려 100여년의 역사를 가지고 있다. 실내에 들어가면 꽤 넓은 규모이며 2층에도 테이블들이 꽤 놓여져 있다. 조금 이른 시간에 가서 사람이 거의 없을 거라 생각했는데도 꽤 많은 사람들이 자리하고 있었다. 실내 인테리어라고는 딱히 없다. 무난한 테이블과 의자들. 특이한 것은 바닥에 톱밥 같은 것을 깔아 두었다는 점이다. 벽에는 오래된 기사와 사진들이 놓여져 있다. 쭌이 올린 사진에는 최초 주인쯤으로 보이는 아저씨가 보이신다.
