The Shitlist |
https://mycigarreviews.wordpress.com/the-shitlist
My single biggest complaint below is high price and either poor construction averages or mediocre blends that are not individualistic in anyway. Enjoy! Gurkha – Crest – $30 = 100% pure garbage. PERIOD! Gurkha – Titan – $30 are you kidding. $3 if they consistently burned well… and that’s high. Gurkha – In general. I can’t knock the Micro-batch blends created for them by AJ Fernandez but everything else I have tried is very mediocre at best. Drew Estate – T52 – lack of flavor, boring, too much $. 5 Vegas M...

My Father – Flor de las Antillas Toro Review Notes. April 18, 2013. 6×53 Box Press. Not an oily wrapper. dry and without a lot of aroma other than a little tobacco and hay. Feels really good in the hand. Unbelievable draw and smoke production. effortless. must draw with repect. Lots of pepper up front. Woody with a little leather and a dry and clean finsh with white pepper. No sweetness on the wrapper…. little surprised by that. No acidity at all. Occasional floral marks hit in the aroma. This really is ...

Oliva – Connecticut Reserve –. Man o’ War Regular or Ruination. 8211; Just straight up good cigars. These AJ Fernandez cigars can be bought as a singles on CigarBid. Or in 5 packs that typically go for under $20. Singles are usually $3 a piece which is a very good price for a great cigar. Construction is always on point and every single time I smoke one of these I am impressed. They smoke great, taste great and have a kickass label. You can’t miss these! Rocky Patel – Vintage –. An Oliva offshoot; the Ca...

Bitcoin and crypto-currencies in general
https://bitbargain.co.uk/bitcoin-presentation
I'm here to talk to you about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. What they are, why we care, where Bitcoin comes from, how it's used to make payments, and the trends. I will be focusing more on the "What is Bitcoin" part because I find that many people who have heard of Bitcoin miss the point and dismiss the idea for the wrong reasons. Which focuses on cash transactions in person. Mt.Gox. Are the biggest exchanges, but they are less popular in the UK on a retail level because you need to use intern...

This is a very special cigar for me since I bought it from LCDH in Prague last April and I had been saving it since then for a special occasion smoke. This occasion did not arrive so I thought this was as good time as any to light up this big torpedo! This one was from a box dated '06 and almost four years of age can do wonders on a cigar like this one. Cut and cold draw. Although...

http://greekcigarman.blogspot.com/2010/11/padron-family-reserve-vertical-tasting.html
Cigars, Pipes and lifes simple Pleasures. Padron Family Reserve Vertical Tasting. Padron Family Reserve Vertical Tasting. Last week a fellow BOTL was kind enough to send me a three pieces sampler of the Padron Family reserve cigars. No 44 in maduro and No 45 and No46 in natural wrappers. The first thought that came in my mind was a “vertical” tasting and review of all three. This cigar starts with a blast of black pepper and very strong leather and coffee tones. Pepper is almost too strong when blowi...

GREEK CIGAR MAN: 2010-01-31
http://greekcigarman.blogspot.com/2010_01_31_archive.html
Cigars, Pipes and lifes simple Pleasures. It has been a long time since I had the opportunity to sit down and light a cigar without having all kinds of thoughts on my mind, so today I knew i had to make the time. Today's smoke is the tatuaje Black tubo. A cigar that has created some noise and some not so positive comments. Remains to be seen. The first thing that catches the eye on this cigar is how rough it looks. Cut and cold draw. Cut was easy and thank God it didn't sound dry. Light and first third.
