My Triumph collection: June 2014
http://triumphtoledo.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
This is the trials and tribulations of my Triumph collection. Saturday, June 07, 2014. I finally took the car in for an MoT. Unsurprisingly, it failed. The handbrake efficiency was below the requirements and there were a few areas of corrosion so not bad for a 42 year old car. I've cleaned, adjusted and greased the rear brake shoes and the handbrake is better. The garage is going to do the welding so that will take care of everything and it will have a fresh MoT (and an empty bank account).
My Triumph collection: September 2013
http://triumphtoledo.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
This is the trials and tribulations of my Triumph collection. Sunday, September 29, 2013. It has been a while. Since I last posted on this Blog. Besides the bodywork, there's the hazard switch to wire up (I'm changing from the later type push-pull to the early type rocker switch), an oil and filter change, 2 front tyres to replace, the front wheel tracking to be adjusted and I need to fit relays the the headlight circuit in readiness for halogens and to avoid the indicator stalk burning out.

My Triumph collection: January 2015
http://triumphtoledo.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
This is the trials and tribulations of my Triumph collection. Saturday, January 17, 2015. A couple of worrying problems. I went round to the garage to arrange getting the subframe mount fixed. I've agreed that the only way to do the job properly is to remove the engine/autobox assembly and then the subframe can be removed completely for unrestricted access. This is the inner wing. My Triumph collection: Subframe bushes.
http://triumphtoledo.blogspot.com/2014/12/subframe-bushes.html
This is the trials and tribulations of my Triumph collection. Wednesday, December 17, 2014. The subframe bushes arrived the day after I'd placed the order. It wasn't cheap at just a shade over £85 but they should outlast the car and won't need changing for a long time. I'm still awaiting the inner wing. Once that arrives, I can get the car in for it to be welded into place. I've got a few jobs to do once that job is out of the way. In no particular order:. Fit solid carb mounts. Get the car resprayed.

Bill's blog: January 2008
http://rarebits4classics.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Thoughts and frustrations of a Herald enthusiast. Monday, January 21, 2008. I've just received the first production batch of oil filter adaptors, part number 471C. To fit Heralds and other Standard-Triumphs with the 948 and 803cc engine. There's more detail in my earlier post, but to summarise, these will allow the smaller engines to use the readily available GFE150. Filter, in place of the rare and expensive Crosland 471.
