Ring Server Open Laboratory. Ring Server's home page. Inside of the Ring Server. Build the largest and most useful software library in the world. We also provides this Open Laboratory. Leader: Ring Server Project. Fumio Kawamata's Open Laboratory. This is for the purpose of talking about electoronic dictionaries and distributing related tools. SKK is one of Japanese input method which was created in 1987 by Masahiko Sato, a professor of Kyoto University. We will expand this SKK further in this openlab.

As new Linux distributions pop up, we have been receiving requests for their mirroring at the Ring Server Project. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to comply with these requests, as:. 1) We are already nearing capacity on our disk space. 2) Of the disk space available, we are already using 40% for various Linux-related software, we do not forsee a benefit in mirroring more Linux distributions.

IP Messenger 歴史と由来なんだそれ. 1996/09 作成 2002/09 発掘加筆修正. 入社１年目の終り、会社での使用マシンが Macになりといっても、仕事は UNIX なので、telnetと電子メールに使用、Macユーザ間で BroadCast というソフト周りでは何故か Messenger と呼ばれていたを使う。メインマシンが WinNT3.50Server に。ふと、動的メンバ認識の方法を思いつき、思い立ったが吉日と、Borland C の AppExpert で、OWL Borland の Windows 用クラスライブラリ版を作成。アイコンには、 GENERATIONS(StarTrek) の Dr.Soran が Nexus を待つ場面をイメージして作ってみたけれど、出来上がってみると、何の絵なのか自分でもよくわからない笑. OWL を使うと、ファイルサイズが一気に大きくなるため 200KB以上、独自の簡易クラスライブラリを作ることを決定。 TCP/IP(UDP) を使った Messenger という意味で、IP Messenger と命名する。
