Whether you want a hike on the windswept high moor, or a more gentle stroll along the Devon lanes there is something for every age and level of ability. All you need is a map some walking boots - or wellies! If you don’t feel like exploring and finding your own way round, there are guided walks available run either by the Dartmoor National Park. Or by the Tourist Information Centre.

Dartmoor offers a wide variety of exciting walks, from the shelter of meandering rivers to magnificent tors and rugged moorland. The only area where dogs are not allowed is in the restaurant area. We ask that you keep them on a lead at all times when you’re in the pub or gardens. Tilly is the resident pub dog and is sure to give you a warm welcome!
