Soling 50 Race Requirements. As a recognized one-design class by AMYA, all Soling 50s to be raced in any local club, regional or national events, must comply with the Soling 50 Class Rules as published on the AMYA website. In addition, all skippers must be a member of the Bakersfield Model Yacht Club ($25.00 per year). We were chartered by the national organization of AMYA. American Model Yachting Association) as club #126 in Region 6 of the United States in 2002. We are devoted to promoting R/C (Radio Controlled) model yacht design, building, sailing, racing, and preservation of model sailing activities in our local area.
