Monday, June 20, 2011. Ok, I think I want to stop growing now! My 32 week appointment went well. Heartbeat is still in 140s, kicking, stretching, rolling around like a busy bee, and head down, eek! I asked the doctor how big she thinks she is, after feeling around on my tummy a bit her guess was about 3 1/2 pounds now! Our bug is getting big and strong! All kinds of emotions are sinking in now because everyday it feels more real. I can't believe we're going to be parents soon! Such a proud fiance!

Every Mangalorean household may have it's own twist. It is very simple to make too. I like dishes that are quick to prepare and yummy to devour. 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chili powder (I did not have it at hand so used 2 tsp regular hot red chili powder- Kashmiri chili powder will give you a nice paste and won't be super hot).

It always comes after Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s- we eat like the year is going to end (pun intended), and punish ourselves later by limiting everything we like, right? 4-5 plum tomatoes, small dice. 1/2 of a large red onion, small dice. 1 avocado (i used a zutano, but hass will work fine as well) diced.
