https://acsdbarrington.wordpress.com/author/acsdbarrington
February 3, 2016. God always surprises us. And when he does, we always talk about how awesome He is. Why is that? Do we not know he is always awesome? I do believe that we know that, but God likes to remind us. He wants us to acknowledge Him for what just happened. God has been… More Blessed. December 19, 2015. Just a quick, and somewhat early post to wish all of our friends and family a very Merry Christmas and a Joyous New Year! November 17, 2014. October 24, 2014. I literally cannot count the amount o...

https://acsdbarrington.wordpress.com/2014/03/24/samantha-says
March 24, 2014. December 17, 2015. We thought we would do a blog post focused on what life is like for a missionary kid. We were sent the following questions from a dear friend and her kids, so please enjoy:. Can you read/speak Spanish better than Dad and Mom? How did you celebrate Christmas? I went to Sara’s...

Pain. Oct 31, 2013 – Barringtons in Bolivia
https://acsdbarrington.wordpress.com/2013/10/31/pain
Pain Oct 31, 2013. October 31, 2013. December 17, 2015. Two months ago I woke up one morning with back pain that I had never experienced before! It was awful I could barely walk, sit, lay down. There was practically nothing I could do for any kind of relief. Through the years I have had different people “work” on me, from physical therapists and massage therapists to chiropractors, and many people have prayed for me. And I can say that I have had relief. Thank the Lord! I just wanted to scream. He IS the...

Today we went to get some blood work taken for some immigration paperwork. As we arrived we noticed that the waiting room was full, not to worry, waiting is a part of the process, especially at 7:30am. : ). Surreal. Sep 23, 2013. Sucre Jan 7-12, 2014 – Barringtons in Bolivia
https://acsdbarrington.wordpress.com/2014/01/18/sucre-jan-7-12-2014
Sucre Jan 7-12, 2014. January 18, 2014. December 17, 2015. From January 7th – 12th we had the awesome opportunity to travel to Yotala which is a small town located just outside of the city of Sucre for the El Alfarero national retreat. This was our first time to travel any significant distance within the country and the experience opened our eyes not only to the diversity of Bolivia but also to the conditions. What did we learn? 2 thoughts on “ Sucre Jan 7-12, 2014. Jeff and Sheryl Van Wert. Our kids wer...

Camiaco – Barringtons in Bolivia
https://acsdbarrington.wordpress.com/2014/06/30/camiaco
June 30, 2014. December 17, 2015. Our plan was to visit Camiaco, encourage the people there and also hand out some water filters to those who have been affected by the flooding of the Beni river. The trip was short but full of surprising and new things! We made it to Mario and Miriam’s place and were greeted with big smiles by all those who were there. Christy has been visiting them for the last 4 years and they are always happy to see her and for her to bring visitors. The flat tire.😦. Grandpa Mario wi...
