Hartley's Life With 3 Boys: Halloween - a Sensory Success!
http://hartleysboys.blogspot.com/2012/10/halloween-sensory-success.html
This is Gabriel 2nd Edition. Halloween - a Sensory Success! Halloween is another one of those holidays that requires special planning when it comes to having a kiddo with SPD. Technically, I can’t think of many holidays that don’t require some kind of planning on my part…maybe Veteran’s Day? Actually, that is a NO, because my father served in Vietnam and my boys are concerned that we honor him appropriately, so I don’t even get to take that holiday off. Ugh.). This is one of the harder parts for some fam...

inner Jogging: ...or not moving....
http://krisrowland.blogspot.com/2013/09/or-not-moving.html
September 10, 2013. We did move to North Carolina, but I am not moving my blog :). North Carolina has so many trees! Especially with the heat and humidity. A gentle breeze down here wouldn't kill you, Mother Nature! Side note: Currently watching Gordon Ramsay's "F Word" show from the UK. Really like him in this show as opposed to his American shows (except Master Chef, that one is good). He's not the complete jerk that he's made out to be. http://hartleysboys.blogspot.com/p/sensational-journeys.html
This is Gabriel 2nd Edition. The first copies of my new book, Sensational Journeys. Have just started to arrive at the doorstep of the 48 amazing contributors that have been brave enough to share their stories in the book! Some of them are even done reading it already - wow - fast readers! Here is what those parents are saying on Facebook:. I cried through the foreword and haven't stopped misting up or shedding tears since! I read it one evening when I was feeling very alone and frustrated. I came aw...

The Joy Of Life In Perspective. Lilypie Fourth Birthday tickers. Lilypie Waiting to Adopt tickers. Saturday, March 31, 2012. Time Flies When You're Having Fun. Today we went to Egg Day. It was completely boring and Zachary was absolutely petrified by the lady in the Easter Bunny costume but somehow when we left Zachary told me, "I had a lot of fun. Can we come back tomorrow? Only in the world of a 3 year old. Looking for Easter eggs in the dark with a flashlight. I have the egg! Aside from these beautifu...

The Joy Of Life In Perspective. Lilypie Fourth Birthday tickers. Lilypie Waiting to Adopt tickers. Sunday, April 29, 2012. This was about the extent of our day today. But for now, we have another tool to make things a little bit easier for him. I will be sending them to school, as there are a number of situations that have been difficult for him. Hopefully they can make as dramatic a chance in school as they did in church. Links to this post. Saturday, April 28, 2012. Speaking of naps, I can tell he is g...
