Southern Flyworks: November 2013
http://southernflyworks.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Saltwater Fly and Light Tackle Fishing with Capt. Jason Stacy 850-419-7697. Tuesday, November 26, 2013. November in the Marsh. November has consisted of a non stop flow of weather fronts. This made each day interesting. With a combination. Of dark clouds and heavy wind to work with, I had to dig into the playbook. Luckily we found plenty of big fish floating around to shoot at. Anytime we had a couple hours of sunlight we made sure to capitalize. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Shoot' em in the Face. Sunday, January 29, 2012. Hdog and Rags Come to Town. Saturday, January 14, 2012. Was down in New Orleans for a conference in October and stuck around afterwords to do some red fishing. I fished with Christian Yergens from Shallow Water Expeditions. The first day was one of the best days of fishing I have ever had. The conditions were perfect and the fish were cooperating. I am itching to get back down there and give them a go. Christmas Eve River Swat. Sunday, January 8, 2012.

Sunday, June 21, 2009. Took my dad and Father-in-Law out on the bay for Father's Day. It was hot and muggy and generally pretty slow. But we did find a few fish sleeping in the grass, one of which decided to wake up and eat when my dad made a cast right by his head. About 28", 9 lbs on the boga. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). http://spottedtailproductions.blogspot.com/2009/11/la-marsh-09-day-2.html
Saturday, November 14, 2009. LA Marsh '09 - Day 2. Fish pushing water as it cruises the bank. White shrimp popping out as the red crawls in the skinny water. You can see the red in the bubble as it eats my dad's fly. We ended the day poling deep into a pond to hide from the afternoon sea breeze. There were several reds working the bank as well as some huge alligator gar surfacing in the middle of a tidal creek. 3 reds cruising the bank. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
