Driven by color and texture, I enjoy hand-dyeing silk to create wearable accessories using a variety of new and time-honored techniques. My favorite technique is Japanese. An ancient, bound resist dyeing method which involves folding, stitching, tying, clamping, and/or binding fabric and the use of multiple dye/discharge baths. My signature scarves feature.
